R. 42 year-old, married, mother of four
What did you want to be when you were a child?
I dreamed of being a policewoman. I saw myself driving into the village in a police car, arresting bad guys and putting them away. I saw how people respect policemen, and I wanted to be respected that way, but I didn't want to be feared.
What would you like to do today?
I want to be a driver. Drive around to places that are hard for me to reach. One of my girls was born with a borderline disability. Since she was six months old, I've been taking her by bus to the hospital 3 times a week. It's hard.
What is your dream?
More than anything, I want to be happy. Feeling truly happy is my real dream. In the future, I'd like to continue embroidering like my grandmother did. She embroidered bed-linen as dowry for the girls of the family. I sometimes think I may have inherited her love for embroidery. Maybe she also wanted this tranquility for herself, just like me.
